The theme for this site is Habitat.

Revegetation work will include weed control, planting with indigenous and endemic plants and adding pathways and seating using natural timbers. 

The design approach aims to soften the site by enhancing habitat and adding complexity, variety and texture. The planting palette prioritises bird and pollinator-attracting plants. It will include a mix of hardy small and medium plants, grasses and groundcover (EVC 55/56), graduating from the S-W corner, with taller shrubs near the railway fence.

Additional informal pathways with granitic toppings and mulched tracklets will facilitate movement between densely planted areas. Habitat will be enhanced with logs and rocks in planted zones.
