The Station Volunteers program encourages enhancement work by volunteers at railway stations across Victoria. Rewilding Stonnington joined the program (then known as Stationeers) in 2021, to extend the work we do in our local area with indigenous and endemic plants. Our members are currently active at Tooronga and Prahran railway stations. Do join us!
Since 2025 the program has been managed by VicTrack, in association with the Department of Transport and Planning, VLine and Metro Trains Melbourne. There are currently 47 station volunteer groups in Victoria including (separately organised) groups near us at East Malvern and Canterbury.
