The weather forecast for this Sunday 9 August is looking a bit grim, even for us!

A cold front, heavy rain and strong north to northeasterly winds will make conditions at our wonderful but steeply sloping Birrarung Banks site potentially tricky for volunteers and vehicles, especially on a first working bee.

We have decided to postpone to the following weekend, so please join us

10am-12 noon Sunday 16 August

Getting there:

Birrarung Banks is on Melbourne Water land, on the banks of the Yarra River/Birrarung near the Heyington rail bridge. For locals, it's just below St Kevins junior school.

Pedestrian access: via Lansell Rd and Heyington Pl Toorak 3142, follow the signs!

Public transport: just a short walk from Heyington station, Glen Waverley line

Limited parking on Lansell Rd and Heyington Pl

Family groups welcome. Children or young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
