Hullo there Rewilders and friends,
We don't have to tell you January has been dry.
Parts of Victoria experienced the lowest rainfall since records began, with high temperatures and tragically, significant bushfire damage across the state.
BoM long range forecasts suggest dry conditions and above average temperatures may well continue into autumn.
We'll keep an eye on that as far as planting goes, but thankfully we've had some rain so far this month - let's hope it continues!
In the meantime there's plenty of soil prep and weeding to do.
In 2026, working bees will rotate between sites, 10am-12 noon on the second and last Sundays of the month, starting at Windsor Siding Park on 15 March.
See the website and subsequent newsletters for details - regular volunteers will be notified via email of any changes as they come to hand.
Please see below for upcoming working bees from 15 March through to the end of May.
Do feel free to join us for one or all sessions, new and returning friends always welcome! |
