It's been a great start to the planting season, with successful working bees at BEAMI Park, Prahran and Tooronga. PLUS a very special Sunday morning at Windsor Primary School, working with the school community to put in screening plants along a previously bare fence facing into the street.

Courtesy of our new insurance policy, this was the first time we have welcomed kids to a working bee -  but not the last we hope!

Thanks to everyone, old friends and new, who turned up, grabbed a rake, spade or trowel and left with grins on your faces. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

- Look out for us on TV: RMIT journalism student Yvette Campitelli-Slee (+ dad as camera crew) came to our working bee at Tooronga to shoot a segment for news and current affairs program Newsline. To be broadcast online and on Channel 31, date TBA. Q: has support for action on climate and the environment dwindled in Melbourne's SE suburbs since the last Federal election? A: Watch this!

- We're excited to announce an extended web presence, courtesy of an initiative from the Victorian Environmental Friends Network.
